2017 Events
Malpas Deanery Festival was held on Tuesday June 20th 2017 at 2pm at St Chad, Farndon Church. The Deanery and Branch banners are pictured below.


2013 Events
Bickerton Branch held a Coffee with Cake and Stalls event in a marquee in the garden of Holy Trinity Church on 14th August. This was to raise money for Mothers' Union Away From It All Holidays, to provide holidays for disadvantaged families in the Chester Diocese.The event was well attended by members and congregation, as it had been promoted by posters in the area and on the church gate which also attracted several walkers off the Sandstone Trail. The walkers took interest in the promotional material displayed and made donations in addition to enjoying delicious refreshments and thanked Mothers' Union for the very welcome diversion to their walk. £245. 00 was raised on the day.


Malpas Deanery Festival was held at St Oswald's Church, Malpas on the 2nd July 2013. The Rev. Antony Dutton took the service and Mothers' Union Diocesan Chaplain, Rev'd James Ambrose, gave a talk, reflecting on where Christian faith can lead. Canon Ian Davenport asked the congregation to applaud and congratulate Brenda Harvey for her longstanding service of forty to fifty years as a "soldier" of Mothers' Union, many as Branch Leader of Bickerton Branch and wished her well for her retirement. Angela Klabou, Diocesan President, presented Brenda with flowers from the Malpas Deanery members. Kate Holland was welcomed as the new Branch Leader. The Rural Dean Keith Hine and Rev. David Scurr, St Chad's Farndon also attended. Afternoon Tea was enjoyed at The High Street Church and £222.49 was raised for The Worldwide fund
