2013 Theme

The theme for all Mothers' Union work in 2013 is The Seeds we Sow.

Big Bible Event: Luke

On Saturday 20th April 2013, Mary Sprackling and Angela Klabou helped at the 'Big Bible Event: Luke' in Chester Cathedral for young families. It was a great day and Mothers' Union ran an activity table in the zone of challenge. We were helping the children make clay crosses which they could take home with them and when dry could paint and colour them. About 80 children made them. Their challenge was to take up their cross.


Angela Klabou was reaffirmed as the Diocese of Chester Mothers' Union President by The Bishop of Chester, The Rt Revd Dr Peter Forster on Saturday 19th January at Chester Cathedral. She was presented by the Bishop's wife and Mothers' Union Ex-officio Vice President Elisabeth Forster.		Following the service Angela is pictured with Provincial President Barbara Taylor and Manchester Diocesan President Catherine Hilton.
