The Annual Lady Day service for Mottram Deanery, in the Diocese of Chester, takes place at St George’s Church, Hyde at 7.30pm. on the 25th March 2010.
All welcome.
A concert by the Robins Singers, in aid of Mothers’ Union Projects, is to be held at Norbury Parish Church, Hazel Grove on Saturday 27th March 2010.

We have a Mothers’ Union exhibition in the entrance to Chester Cathedral, for the whole of March 2010. Mothers’ Union Soup is being served in the Refectory again during March. Come and have a look and buy some soup to support our Soup Kitchen Project in South Africa.
Angela Klabou was commissioned as the Diocese of Chester Mothers’ Union President by The Bishop of Chester, The Rt Revd Dr Peter Forster on Saturday 16th January at Chester Cathedral. Also commissioned were the new Trustees and Officers.

Angela Klabou, our former Mothers’ Union Diocesan Secretary, has been elected as the new Diocesan President for Chester Diocese Mothers’ Union from January 1st 2010.
Angela will be commissioned at Chester Cathedral on Saturday 16th January at 2pm, along with other Trustees and officers. All members and friends are warmly invited to this service.

Emma Critchley of Iris Therapies is to give a free Infant Massage taster session at the Kingsway Family Support Group on Tuesday December 1st 1pm – 3.00pm at Kingsway Children’s Centre, Kingsway CH2 2LB Infant massage is beneficial for all premature babies following discharge from the neonatal unit.
The Family Support group is a drop in group for any family who have had a premature or sick infant care for on a neonatal unit. The facilities include a play area for children, somewhere to chat and be listened to for families. Everyone is welcome, whether you are a mum, dad, grandparent or carer. Run by volunteers from the Mothers’ Union these groups are supported by Bliss, the charity for families of premature and sick infants, and the Cheshire and Merseyside neonatal network.
