A group of 40 members and some brave husbands travelled to Durham where we stayed in St John's College.

We attended choral Evensong at Durham Cathedral.		We had a communion service at St Mary's Parish Church on Lindisfarne, Holy Island
We had compline in St John's College Chapel		We travelled to St Paul's, Jarrow a 7th C church where The Venerable Bede worshipped

What a thrill to follow in the footsteps of Aidan, Bede and Cuthbert.

From beginning to end the pilgrimage was an experience to treasure. Wonderful fellowship.

It was lovely to visit places I had wanted to see for sometime, but the fellowship and the different acts of worship helped to make this a very inspiring pilgrimage, which will live in my memory for a long time.
